Miami Dade College Foundation hosts two signature fundraiser events that benefit students and need support. 

  • The MDC Alumni Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony raises funds for student scholarships while recognizing distinguished alumni who have made a difference in their careers and in our community.
  • I AM MDC Day is our day of giving and school pride on Sept. 6 that recognizes the significant impact Miami Dade College has had on our community since opening our doors on Sept. 6, 1960. Gifts support the I AM MDC Fund, benefitting students and the programs that support them.
In addition, MDC hosts a variety of other events year-round, from the Miami Book Fair and Miami Film Festival to New World School of the Arts performances and more.
